Adho Merudanda Mudra:
Make a fist by curling all four fingers tightly and extend thumb up, keeping the thumb as straight as possible. Rest hands on middle of thighs with thumbs pointing towards each other.
Particularly for you Lower Back, do the Adho Merudanda Mudra for 15 to 20 minutes. The fingers need not join, while doing the Mudra.
It works on the pelvic area. It locks the energy to the lower back. Thus, this Mudra sends the prana only to the lower back.
You are centered mentally and emotionally. It enhances the water element also.
For dry skin this Mudra is useful. However, for dryness of throat you have to do Movement Mudra.
You can chant “VALLABAM GAJAANANAM EKA DHANTHAM” mantra while doing this Mudra.
