Benefits of Listening to Shivohum Meditation CD

If one has to succeed as a healer, and be able to analyse his client or guide them, then they have to listen to Shivohum CD.

Steps to Follow and Benefits that Follow

  • The mantra, “Shivohum” will be continuously played. Behind that there will be sounds to induce Alpha frequency. You will get into Alpha state, without you taking any special efforts, but to listen to the CD and do nothing else.
  • First 10 days listen for 30 minutes. Clarity will come.
  • After that, listen to the mantra CD for 1 hr (play 30 minutes CD twice). You will know how to take your decisions.
  • Usually after attending a class, you will tend to forget the matter discussed in the class. However, after listening to the CD for a while, you will be able to recall everything though.
  • While listening to the CD, you can think about anything. You do not need to listen to the mantra recited in the CD. You do not need to meditate either.
  • Initially, you would feel restless, to hear the mantras, for one hour. Initially listen for 30 minutes, for the first 10 days. Start listening for 1 hr, after 10 days. It is important to do so, so as to make you achieve better results.

Please note for Alzheimer, you have to listen to “Madavan Madavam” mantra.

Different Levels of Meditation

There are three major groupings or levels of meditation based on how deeper you are into meditation. They are Alpha, Delta and Theta. In normal waking state, we are in Beta.

When you listen to the CD, as you listen to higher levels (starting from Shivohum Level One and going up till Shivohum Level Eight), you will go deeper and deeper into meditation.

Alpha – our mind is in a relaxed state. Any suggestions and affirmations are retained by the brain.

Theta – a state of brain/mind where you can direct your life. It is a child-like state.

Children around 4 years are in theta state. It is a great learning stage. Their observation power, the learning ability, creativity, etc., are 100%.

The affirmations repeated while listening to the theta state will manifest.  Theta waves increases creativity.

Delta state – during your life, for a split of a second, now and then, you will be in the divine energy state.

But with the help of meditation CD, you can be there for a longer duration time. Life will be good for you.

For each of the 8 levels, you need to spend minimum of one month. Only then you can go to next level.

First level takes you to alpha. You can have affirmations stored in the CD and condition your brain and thus life.

You need not read books to gain knowledge. Automatically you will gain them when you reach the final level.

By listening to the CD, indirectly you make the brain get to the deeper levels, for longer duration and with lesser effort. That’s the secret of the meditation CD.

Unconsciously we go to different states and levels. With the help of Alpha meditation CDs, consciously we go to those states. What’s the difference?

When we go unconsciously, there is no effect. Consciously you should be aware of that state so that your productivity would increase.

Patting Meditation

This meditation is to pat ourselves. Let us not feel anything wrong with us.

We develop interest in healing after we get 40 years old. This is called as making up or correcting ourselves. We resort to all types of healing.

Interestingly, without all that fuss we have achieved so much.

(When I say pat, pat the left shoulder. Left side is for receiving. We need our love. We need ourselves)

When you affirm, “I accept myself totally”, then divine energy flows into you. Self-appreciation is a must. That’s why I gave this meditation to you.

Meditation

Close your eyes.

Relax yourself.

Feel the feet where it really anchors and feel your body.

Just be with the body. Be with yourself.

I am a loving person.

Think of days where you expressed your love from the heart and pat yourself.

Appreciate yourself. Hey you have done a good thing. You did a good job.”

Say your name again and again and pat yourself in the back of the body at the same place.

Now think of the days or moments when you really laughed and enjoyed. It may be an ice cream.

Think of all the days where you really enjoyed and laughed out from the heart. You are really great and you really know how to enjoy. You are a wonderful person.

When you do that you do with all the smiles in your face because you are visualizing your days of enjoyment, your days of laughter. Joy should reflect on your face.

Think of all your achievements in school days or college days – any achievement, even scoring a first mark in any subject. You are an achiever. Pat yourself.

Think of all the appreciation you got from others. You are a nice person; you are trustworthy and pat yourself.

Thank yourself. A sense of achievement should be on the face with a feeling, ‘I have been appreciated for this’. Really that person appreciated you from the heart.

Think of all the persons who cheated you who had hurt your feelings. Pat yourself for managing your life with them.

Think of the period of your struggle with the body.

The body had some ailment. You went to the doctor and consulted so many other people. Somehow or other you are still living and have come out of the ailment.

Pat yourself for managing well and coming out of the ailment.

Think of the period of struggle with money. You are still here. Pat yourself since you have come a long way. Money is one part of life. You have successfully managed it.

Think of any event that you realized that god is there. There is always a force behind all these happenings. Love yourself for understanding that there is a divine force behind you.

Keep your hand in the heart and say ‘Oh god you are my light. You are my peace. Guide my steps. Illuminate my heart. Lead in the paths that go straight to Thee. Open my eyes whenever necessary. Be here and let me feel the connection’.

Thank yourself and pat yourself for being connected with god.

Benefits of doing this meditation

We always speak negatively of ourselves. All those negative thoughts will go into negative beliefs and plug the mental body.

That is why we repeat same mistake again and again and undergo the same experience. Now we know how to thank ourselves and appreciate ourselves.

In future also there is always divinity which will take care of your future. Say now, ‘I am at peace’.

Your concept for HELPING EACH OTHER is really great. It will give us joy of helping others and develop compassion for each other too.

However, we are missing you a lot.

Remaining silent is meditation

Meditation is an experience that nobody can teach you.

Neither can we go to deep into meditation suddenly as it’s a practice and a habit that is formed over a period of time.

Meditation means, to remain silent. Though, thoughts keep appearing. If any thought is present then it’s not meditation.

How to remain thoughtless?

How to remain silent in spite of thoughts?

Mind can cling to picture or a mantra.

Do we have a mantra for silence?

There is no mantra for silence.

However, there is a technique to create silence.

The technique is as follows…

When a thought comes don’t resist it. Say inside you, ‘this is my thought’.

Thus, you disassociate yourself from the thought.

Then ask the question to yourself, ‘Can I let go this thought?’

It will go. You can also say “release”. Then it will go.

Now, there will be at least a one second gap between two thoughts. This is equivalent to one hour of meditation.

In general, we never have a gap between thoughts as we might have ten thoughts in one second.

If you do not want the “let go” step, then form your own mantra or word. When we say that mantra, we create a gap between the thoughts.

When a thought comes, interrupt it with the mantra and you will become silent. When another thought comes, say the mantra once again.

The silence thus formed in between chanting the mantra is meditation.

Pranic and physical bodies has to be in coordination

Our pranic body and physical body have to be in coordination. Otherwise, we can’t meditate.

If we regulate our breathing pattern or do pranayama then they will be in coordination.

This is because both breathing and prana have the same origin. When breathing is regulated, prana is regulated too.

Pranic body has to be clear of impurities

When the pranic body is clean, then the meditation can be done successfully.

Why so much impurities in the Pranic field?

It’s due to the mind. Our own sadness and worries create these impurities.

With the help of pranayama, one can clear these impurities.

How to acquire a good breathing pattern?

When you meditate, place the index finger at the base of the thumb on both the hands.

Breathing will get deeper and you could meditate properly, as shallow breathing spoils the meditation.

Don’t take the index finger straight away move your finger to the base of the thumb.

First touch the tip of thumb with the index finger. Then after some time, move the index finger to the middle of the thumb, and finally to the base of the thumb.

Don’t do it mechanically. Feel the breath with a conscious awareness.

Observing your breathing is also a good way to meditate. This is part of meditation known as Vipasana meditation.

Do the space meditation now

After learning to breathe well, do the space meditation.

Be aware of the space between the chair you are sitting and the wall in front of you. Don’t look at the wall. Instead look at the space between you and the wall.

This is known as ‘Space Meditation’.

Keep the eyes open throughout.

Chanting mantra during meditation

It’s nature of our mind to cling to something. You can choose a mantra to do that.

After sometime you should be able to say goodbye to it. Mantra by itself is not divine.

Chanting means constantly thinking about a word, which is a mantra. Ultimately that also should go.
