Chinmaya Mudra – Discussion, Mumbai 2015
Naran S Balakumar
Chinmaya means knowledge, embodiment of knowledge.
Do the Mudra by keeping the index finger touching the tip of thumb, while other three fingers are folded at the base of the thumb.
In Chin Mudra, all the three fingers other than index finger are extended, which means your ego is active.
While in Chinmaya Mudra, the ego is subdued. The emotions are also subdued. At the same time your higher mind is activated.
Only then you will get the second and third views. To think differently and to have a better idea this Mudra can help.
How to solve a problem?
Think differently.
This Mudra will bring in you higher understanding. By being in Mudra, you have to chant the switch words, ‘TOGETHER REACH ON’.
The emotional finger (ring finger) also represents desire. When you have high expectations or desires, it will prevent you from finding solution to the problem.
That’s why Chinmaya Mudra is very effective for helping you to find out from higher perceptive i.e., enabling you to think from a higher level.
