Meditation from Naran Sir for 21 April 2020

Gokulam, the beautiful village is situated on the banks of Yamuna River.

In that serene village, Nandagopa and Yashoda were living peacefully.

On that auspicious day when moon was in Rohini star, a good news came.

Early morning, Nandagopa was conversing with the cows in his cowshed and offering his prayers of gratitude to them.

Sunandha, his sister rushed to the cowshed and informed him that he was blessed with a baby boy.

Slowly this news started spreading in the entire village. It turned out into a festive occasion; each house started celebrating the birth of the new-born child in Gokulam. Villagers started rushing to Yashoda’s house to name the child as if he is their own child. In sheer ecstasy some danced, some sang melodious songs, some were showering flowers, some were splashing on each other with milk, curd, ghee etc. All the villagers were experiencing Supreme delight, happiness but hardly they knew that Yashoda did not give birth to this child. The child born to Devaki became Yashoda’s son overnight and none knew why this child is in Gokulam.

This child is none other than our very own dear Krishna, Kanna, Gopala, Muralidhara.

Sing and dance within visualizing and transporting yourself into Gokulam visualizing the above scene.

Let Krishna be born in our hearts.
