Learning many things from my daughter

M

http://finddivinehome.wordpress.com/2013/10/21/cookers-like-mother-in-laws-more/

I really like both stories of Girija.

My little daughter also talks to objects, sun, moon, rain, flowers, pigeons, Ganapati and even to her body parts.

Today doctor cut her plaster. So she was telling to her left hand, “Hey left hand! Pls take care of right hand” (as there is pain in her right hand after cutting the plaster).

When I told her that we have to teach right hand again – how to eat and write, she was encouraging her right hand “You can do it”.

Thus, I’m learning many things from my daughter.

Healing through Stories and Tapping

What is the Use of Listening to Stories CD and Doing EFT?

Inner meaning of stories can be learnt by the subconscious mind. It is called ‘Learning by Metaphors’.

  • ·         When the conscious mind concentrates on story, subconscious mind will learn what it has to learn.
  • ·         If you can tap (do EFT) while listening to the stories, then you will tap the resource of the characters in the stories.

There is a simple way of tapping using the six positions in the fingers including the Gamut point. They are important positions. Balancing        will result.

How one can to listen to Stories CD?

  • If the eyes are open, then the conscious mind will focus on something else, therefore, while listening to the story, close your eyes and listen
  • Tapping is one of the best techniques to get the resources of other persons – we are not taking away the resources of them, as the resources are in a common pool
  • Tap on yourself to activate those resources inside yourself (everybody has all the resources inside them)
  • At the same time, listen to your breathing as well
  • Release all thoughts that come to you by saying, “I let go these thoughts”
  • Just relax

What these stories will do to you?

  • There are many stories around that can heal us. You would have heard the story, how Rama’s name changed a thief into Valmiki, the greatest epic writer of all the times
  • You have to listen to stories repeatedly, so that mind is conditioned
  • Words and messages embedded in stories have direct access to subconscious
  • Not only our mind, but also our thoughts get elevated too
  • Our life will change too
  • A new life and a new beginning situation will happen
  • Within a week, you will feel the churning of mind

Why should we listen to stories?

An elephant does not know what a mantra is. Then it heard, “Om Namo Bhagavate” that originated from the universe.

It is a Soul’s Mantra.  It means that soul is saying to Lord, “I do Namaskara for you”. Immediately, Gajendra had Motcham (liberation of soul from mundane life).

We keep trying so much. By hook or crook, we try to achieve. Only when we can’t go further, we surrender. That is what the elephant Gajendra did.

The soul will rise when it hears this Mantra as it is a Soul’s Mantra. However, we need to repeat it many times.

Therefore, when we listen to stories, we have a direct influence over the sub-conscious mind.

Connect with Great Saints

Healing connection with Paramacharya

Last weekend, I was cleaning my attic.

I happened to find the photograph of Paramacharya Chandrashekarendra Saraswati. It showed his devotees doing Kanaga Abhishekam on him. It is a prayer to seek wealth and welfare.

The photo was kept unclean. So, I felt bad and send Reiki to Paramacharya using the Silver Triangle as a sign of apology and prayer.

I didn’t know what the message is for me here, because I believe strongly that divine gives us messages and guidance through many forms.

So, I simply prayed to Paramacharya, seeking whatever healing required by me, my family, and my patients.

Connection between the lost child and her parents

Only last month, I read an article about him in a Tamil Newspaper.

The story goes like this.

An old couple approached Paramacharya. They were childless and wanted to do something back to the society – either in the form of taking care of expenses of some poor girl (as marriage expenses are taken care of by the brides’ family in this part of the world) or adopt a child.

Therefore, they sought his guidance.

Paramacharya asked them to contact the poor family waiting to meet him outside his abode.

The old couple had a daughter who was about to get married and were looking for some financial help to get their daughter married.

When enquired about their daughter, the daughter’s father told the old couple that they found the girl in a railway station about 15 years back.

What was surprising was that the girl was nothing but the daughter of the old couple themselves. The man is her father and the lady was her step-mother.

It is his daughter from his first marriage.

After, his first wife passed away, he married his current wife. On her insistence, he left the daughter in a railway station that is far away from their home, so that she will be lost from their lives.

And, he never had a child through his second marriage.

The girl was picked up by the poor couple, who were childless themselves and took care of her from then.

How Paramacharya did know this? Nobody knew that fact. But, somehow he connected the abandoned daughter with her legal parents.

Connection with right gynecologist

Kala was about to have her second child. She has major complications and couldn’t find a solution to fix them.

Unfortunately, each doctor she consulted had given her different warnings, which confused her further. So she was worried and said she had to meet me immediately.

The time she came to see me, a couple was waiting for me to consult me for the first time.

When I found out that the lady is gynecologist, I asked her to help Kala. The doctor obliged to see Kala immediately and gave the right consultation that was the need for the hour.

The doctor refused to take any money as she felt that only divine has made her to come to my clinic and meet Kala. I insisted that she take 200 rupees as a token of energy exchange.

However, I told her to keep it with her and not spend it, as I have understood the message from divine – here Paramacharya, that divine is offering to the doctor, a gift of wealth and welfare in the form of 200 rupees.

What is the connection with Reiki past healing and Saints?

Whenever you want to seek the guidance and blessings of Saints and Sages, or Gods for that matter, you put them in the altar in the form of silver triangle and do your prayers by drawing Reiki symbols.

You will be able to receive their grace and rays of love from them.

While doing the prayer, make an affirmation, “I OPEN to GRACE and RAYS of LIGHT and LOVE of …. (NAME of the SAINT)”

A Magic Umbrella that Brings in Rain

A prayer for rains was organised in a church located in the middle of a desert.  Plenty of the local folks were present in the prayer hall.

The son of a poor cobbler, a four-year old child, wanted to attend too. Though, unlike others he brought an umbrella with him as he was sure the prayers will bring in rain.

And it did rain, for the Lord of the Rains didn’t want the little fellow to lose his FAITH.

I will save you at any cost

A great man of prayer was once surrounded by floods.

On the previous day, god appeared in his dream and said “When the floods arrive, I will come and save you.”

Now his house was about to be submerged in the water.

Soon after a boat man appeared and offered his services. Though, the great man refused the offer, expecting god to come and save him.

The floods were rising further and except for him all his neighbors were saved.

After some time, another boatman came and offered his services.

Once again the great man refused it. He did the same for the third boatman too.

Eventually, he was drowned.

He met the God after his death and asked him why he was not saved from the floods, as he was promised in the dream.

God replied “I sent the boats thrice, but on all the three occasions you refused.”

Allow yourself to be filled with light and love

Bhagwan Swaminarayan was barely eleven years old, when he renounced his home and decided to travel all over India.

He was fearless even at that age.

He did an arduous seven-year pilgrimage through Nepal, Eastern and Southern India before settling down in the Western state of Gujarat.

He did this journey towards the end of the 18th century. It’s simply mind-boggling to visualize that journey with none of the communications and facilities that are available today.

The questions that came to my mind were when I visited the beautiful temple of Swaminarayan situated in Delhi:

Why can’t we be as courageous as Swaminarayan to undertake our life journey – towards our dreams, goals and destination?

In that regard, is it possible to achieve our dreams and be fulfilled?

Of course, we do can fulfil our dreams and achieve our goals, if we are as fearless and committed as Swaminarayan.

This is the message I received when I visited the temple of Swaminarayan, which I wanted to share it with you on the day of Deepavali.

Love Thanks Divine

Jada Bharatha

When King Bharatha ruled India, he ruled people with care and affection.

After a long period of ruling he lost all interest for the family, for the kingdom and to be a king. He was a fully satisfied man, having done his duties well.

Jada Bharatha Meditates 24/7

He departs from his kingdom and leaves for Haridwar.

Bharatha lived alone in a hut in the forest. He recited the Vishnu’s Nama all the hours – while waking up, taking his bath, drinking water, eating food, sitting, walking, and sleeping.

He was non stop thinking and chanting the mantra, “Om Padmanabhaya Namaha”, which means the ruler of soul qualities.

Every moment, every second was moment of worship. All the desires are burnt. His heart was devoted to the Lord.

When his heart became blissful and filled with the Namas, his eyes responded with tears flowing on his cheeks.

The longing to see the Lord and to have Darshan of the lord – the fire grew inside him.

A Life Changing Event

When his life went on like this happily, an event happened, which changed his life totally.

He became slavishly attracted to a pet which came to him by chance. It is a small deer left orphaned by its dead mother.

He thought that the poor pet had taken shelter of him. He became its father and mother, started caressing and protecting it. He would sleep with it, bathe with it, walk with it and even eat only with his pet deer.

A detached person gets attached to his pet!!!

Finally He Dies Thinking About His Pet

He forgot his Pooja, the Lord, and the Nama. The initial compassion and affection for the pet became an obsession.

Spent his life obsessed with the pet – becoming mad. The end for any one comes without notice.

When the death knocked him, lying on his bed, he saw his pet sitting near him. His eyes shed tears for the pet.

He thought, “I can’t die without my dear deer”.

However, he died with the thought of the deer.

Next Lifetime He Takes the birth as a Deer

In the next life time, he was born as a deer. The Lord graced him with complete remembrance of his previous birth.

(Please note here that we are not privileged enough to know about our previous birth(s) so easily.)

As a deer, he repented for his past foolishness and detached himself from the deer family, standing in the forest near Rishis.

He spent his time listening to the spiritual teachings of Lord.

After some years he died and took the next birth in a high spiritual family, as a human.

Took the birth as a human being again

Wanting to avoid another spiritual fall he carefully detached from all his family members including his parents, and looked and behaved like an insane person.

He was called as Jada Bharatha and wanted to avoid another spiritual fall.

To discourage people from talking to him he presented himself as a madman, very dull, partially blind, and partially deaf.

He did chanting again 24/7

He kept away from all, while reciting the Nama “OM PADMANABAYA NAMAHA”, which he did two births ago. He was always immersed in God consciousness.

After the death of his parents he was driven out of the house by his nine brothers.

Though he would not take food properly, he was a very strong and hefty man. Never desiring either for food or clothing, he would only wear a dirty loin cloth and slept on the ground.

He was insulted, mocked and neglected by all. Nothing disturbed him as he was deeply into divine consciousness.

He began wandering all over India.

He was asked to carry the Palanquin of a King

One day he was asked to carry a Palanquin. They were carrying a king.

During the course, he walked slower than others, to avoid stepping on the ants along the path.

This was creating a jerk, because of which the king could not sit comfortably. He almost fell down.

The king shouted, “You clumsy insolent, how dare you are carrying me like this”.

Jada Bharatha did not say a word. Stopped carrying the palanquin and walked unaffected.

The king shouted, “Hey! Stop! I am your master. You are not carrying out my order – you are not doing anything.”

For the first time in his life Jada Bharatha opened his mouth and came out with the answer, which baffled the king.

Jada Bharatha Speaks for the First Time in his Lifetime

“O King your words are true. Yes I am not the doer. The body has been doing. I, the soul, is just watching and observing.

“You said that you are my master and I am your servant. This may be true today but later I may be your master. It is our karma which decides our birth.

“You think that you are permanent. Everything is this world is ephemeral. It is constantly changing. Nature will change everything in a split second.

“You are in illusion. You think that this illusion is real. You will remain in this illusion with all its miseries unless you realise who you are!

“If you realize who you are, you are untouched neither by karma nor by the illusion”.

The King Falls at the Feet of Jada Bharatha

The king with hands clasped fell at the feet of Jada Bharatha and said, “O sage! Please forgive me. I am sorry. Teach me divine. If I have your blessings I can learn it.”

King asked questions about soul, god, mind karma and reincarnation.

Jada Bharatha answered all of them and finally said, “Give up your attachments. Detach from this illusory world. You are not your body. You are not your mind. You are all these but above these.”

The king asked Jada Bharatha, “How can I separate my mind?”

Jada Bharatha replied, “Release your desires. Likes and dislikes. Shed your ego. Then you will find the shining light, which is divine.”

Always think, “God, Thou art the reason of our existence and our goal.”

Finally

He just walked away, without noticing anything, while his mouth muttering, “God, Thou art the reason of our existence and our goal.”

Only person without an ego

This is a continuation of the post, “Ego is not tiny”: http://wp.me/p3dhkD-2k

Naran

How one can be without an ego?

Unless you shed your identity, you cannot shed your ego. There is only one person who was without an ego. He was Lord Krishna.

He accepted to be the driver of the chariot (in the battle field of Kurukshetra war). We don’t know the difficulties of a driver of a chariot.

In the midst of the war, while fight is going on, you cannot give instructions to the driver, ‘Hey turn left here’ and so on.

In the war, Arjuna was sitting above him. How Arjuna did convey the messages to Krishna?

He will place his leg on the left shoulder of Krishna, if the chariot has to be turned left and on the right shoulder, if the chariot has to be turned right.

If you become a chariot driver, will you accept it?

However, Krishna accepted it. That is the nature of Divine beings.  He did his work as a charioteer with full devotion.

Running the chariot is Karma Yoga for him. Running it with devotion is Bhakti yoga for him. Because he rode it with so much of dedication, he attained the supreme knowledge (Gnana) in driving the chariot.

That’s why His Gita is Bhagavad Gita.

When the war was over how did Arjuna behave?

That’s the difference between the lord and human beings.

After the war, he told Krishna, ‘I am the warrior. Will you please get down first?”

That’s the protocol in the war.  Krishna replied to him, “War is over. You get down first”.

Arjuna got down first and then Krishna did. The moment Krishna got down from the chariot, it burst into flames. Had Krishna followed the protocol, what would have happened?

Arjuna would have been killed in the flames.

TINY is the switch word which fully describes Krishna.

Old slippers can bite

Discussed in the class, “Mind-Body DEMYSTIFIED Part II”, Oct 19th, 2013

Naran

“New slipper will bite” – says a Tamil saying.

However, a lady who can speak only Telugu told me otherwise.

Girija went to a local temple, leaving her old slippers outside the temple premises, when she stood  before the deity, praying, a thought appeared in her mind whether her slippers would be safe; another thought flashed saying, “they will be; who will take these old chappals”.

Strangely, when she returned from the temple, she found her old slippers missing. So, she had to walk a bit under the hot sun, searching for a shoe shop, where she could buy herself new slippers.

Surprisingly, she found her slippers in the entrance of the shop.

I just wanted to tell you here, she could talk to inanimate objects.

She heard her slippers saying, ‘You left me unsafe, thinking I am too old to be stolen. See what I had done for your callousness. Do you understand my value now?”

So, we need to learn to respect inanimate objects also. For example, we throw the container after using all the remedies, without even saying thanks to the container. Don’t do that.

Next time, say thanks to the container or for the matter whatever stuff you use and then dispose them.
